Lithium Coin Cell Batteries for OEMs and Distributors
A lithium coin cell is a small, flat, non-rechargeable 3 V battery used in key fobs, sensors, clocks, medical meters and many other small devices. Jetray supplies coin and button cells in batches to device makers and distributors. MOQ for coin and button cells is 4,000 pieces.

What the code means
For a code such as CR2032:
- C lithium manganese dioxide chemistry (primary).
- R round.
- 20 diameter in mm.
- 32 thickness in tenths of a mm, so 3.2 mm.
CR2025 or CR2032?
They share the same diameter, but a CR2032 is thicker and holds more energy. They are not always interchangeable, because the battery holder is made for one thickness. Use the code the device was designed for.
Do not swap in rechargeables
A LIR2032 looks like a CR2032, but it is a rechargeable lithium-ion cell with a different voltage, about 3.6 V. It is not a drop-in replacement. Never charge a CR cell.

Versions for production
- Standard coin cells for holders.
- Cells with solder tabs or pins for soldering to a board.
- Cells with leads and connectors.
- Cells in tape-and-reel or trays, if your line needs it.
Tell us how your product mounts the cell.

Brands, documents and delivery
We supply coin and button cells from Panasonic, Maxell, FDK and Seiko. UN38.3 and MSDS documents are available. Lithium coin cells are regulated for transport, and we pack and label to the rules. We ship worldwide from Shenzhen.
Estimating life
Divide the cell's capacity by the average current. For a device that wakes up for short bursts, count the burst current and how long it lasts. Check the datasheet at your current, because a coin cell gives less capacity at higher current. Send your profile and we help.
Holders and contacts
- The holder must match the cell's diameter and thickness.
- Contacts should press firmly and not bend over time.
- Solder-tab versions avoid contact problems in vibrating products.
- Keep metal parts away from the cell's side, which is the other terminal.

Packing for production
We pack coin cells in trays or boxes for your line. Tell us how you load them. Batches are labeled and packed to the shipping rules. Small cells can be swallowed by children, so keep them in child-resistant packing for consumer products.
Storage and safety
Store coin cells in their packing, in a cool and dry place. Do not let them touch each other or metal tools, which can short them. Do not charge them.
Frequently asked questions
For coin and button cells it is 4,000 pieces. Send the model and we confirm.
We supply batches to makers and distributors. Tell us how you plan to sell them.
They are the same size and chemistry from different makers. Check the datasheet for capacity.
Yes. Send a drawing or a sample.
Rechargeable coin cells are a different type. Ask us, and we confirm what is available.
Only if the holder has room for the thicker cell. Use the code the device was designed for.
Coin cells are a hazard if swallowed. Follow the rules for your market and use secure compartments. Ask us about packing.
Often yes. Tell us the code and we confirm which brands are available.
