A lithium polymer cell is a rechargeable lithium cell in a flat pouch instead of a metal can. The soft case makes it thin, light and easy to shape, so it suits slim devices. Jetray supplies LiPo cells and builds them into custom packs.

Series and parallel: 1S to 8S
LiPo cells are joined to reach the voltage you need. Each series cell adds about 3.7 V nominal.
Parallel cells add capacity. A multi-cell LiPo pack needs a balance connector and a BMS or protection board.

Custom shapes
Pouch cells can be made in many sizes. If no standard size fits, tell us the space and we propose a cell or a layout that does.
Safety
Pouch cells can swell if overcharged, overheated or used past their age. A pack should have protection, a case that supports the cells and a charger that suits them. Stop using a swollen pack.

Reading LiPo specs
For a drone or fast tool, check the continuous discharge current. For a wearable, check the thickness and the edge.
Design allowance for swelling
A pouch cell can grow thicker over its life and when it is charged. Leave a little room in the housing, and do not press the cell hard against a wall. Tell us the space, and we plan the cell and the holder together.
Protection and connectors
- A protection board for a single cell, or a BMS for several.
- A balance connector for multi-cell packs.
- Connector types: JST, Molex, XT60 and others, or a plug of your own.
- Wire length and exit position.
