Custom E-Bike Battery Packs for Brands and OEMs
An e-bike battery pack is a set of lithium cells, a protection board (BMS) and a case, built to the frame, motor and controller. Jetray builds custom packs for e-bike brands and OEMs, from a few samples to batches, with your shape, connector and label.
E-bike battery basics

- Volts (V) set how hard the motor can push. It is the cells in series times the cell voltage.
- Amp-hours (Ah) set how long the pack runs. It comes from the cells in parallel.
- Watt-hours (Wh) is volts times amp-hours, and is the best figure for comparing packs.
- Peak current (A) is what the controller draws when you start or climb. The BMS and cells must carry it.
Example: a 13S pack uses 13 Li-ion cells in series, about 48 V. Four parallel strings of 3.5 Ah cells give 14 Ah, or about 672 Wh. This is an example only. We work from your motor and controller.
Voltage by cell count
Your motor and controller decide the voltage and current limit. Never connect a pack to a controller that is rated for a different voltage.

10S
- Nominal voltage
- about 36 V
- Common use
- Light and city e-bikes

13S
- Nominal voltage
- about 48 V
- Common use
- Most e-bikes and scooters

14S
- Nominal voltage
- about 52 V
- Common use
- Higher-power e-bikes

20S
- Nominal voltage
- about 72 V
- Common use
- E-motorcycles and high-power builds
Cells and chemistry
Cylindrical 18650 and 21700 cells are the usual choice. We pick the cell by discharge rate, size and weight. Brands we can offer include Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Molicel and EVE. Tell us your peak current and we check the layout. Cell selection →
Case and mounting

The case decides how the pack fits the bike. Common shapes:
We build plastic or sheet-metal cases, with IP65 as our usual level and other levels on request. We can add a lock, a power button, a charge-level display and a handle. Send the frame drawing or photos of the space. Enclosure design →
- Down-tube mounted on the frame's lower tube
- Rear rack carried over the back wheel
- Seat-post or in-frame hidden inside the frame
- Triangle fills the main frame triangle
BMS, communication and charging

The BMS protects against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit and high temperature, and balances the cells. CAN, UART and Bluetooth can be set up to your requirement, so the controller, display or an app can read charge level and faults. We supply a matching charger, and set its limits to your pack. Safety and documents by market
E-bike batteries are checked closely, because of fire risk. Buy from a maker who can show the documents for your exact model.
Ask for the documents that cover your model before you approve a sample. Quality and certification →
Your brand and your order

We also supply distributors. Cost and MOQ →
- Private label your label, logo and packaging. OEM, ODM and private label →
- Samples custom battery pack samples are charged. You test them on your bike before the batch.
- MOQ depends on the product. Send the quantity you plan.
- Delivery custom packs usually take one to two months. Items in stock ship without waiting.
- Shipping worldwide from Shenzhen, with transport and certification reports.

Mistakes e-bike brands make when ordering packs
Matching voltage but not the controller
The controller's current limit and communication decide what the BMS must do.
Choosing cells by capacity alone
Hill climbs and fast starts need cells that supply current, not just a high Ah number.
Case before fit
Frame shape, lock and rail position set the case. Send frame drawings or photos early.
Ignoring market rules
Documents depend on where you sell. Tell us the markets before we plan the pack.
Skipping a road test
Mount a sample on a real bike and ride it before the batch.

Frequently asked questions
It must match the controller and motor. Many e-bikes use 36 V, 48 V or 52 V, and high-power builds use 72 V.
High-discharge 18650 or 21700 Li-ion cells are common. The right cell depends on peak current, size and weight.
Yes. Send the frame drawing or photos with a ruler, and we propose the case and cell layout.
It depends on your country. UN38.3, IEC 62133 and MSDS documents are available from us. Tell us the market and we check which others your buyers ask for.
Li-ion is lighter. LiFePO4 is more stable and handles more cycles, and suits cargo bikes and heavy use.
CAN, UART and Bluetooth can be set up to your requirement. Send the display's protocol document.
Yes. We support private label, including label and packaging.
