Battery Packs for Blood Pressure Monitor Makers
A blood pressure monitor battery must handle the burst of current when the pump inflates the cuff, then stay quiet in standby. Jetray builds custom rechargeable lithium packs for upper-arm and wrist monitors, for device makers.
What makes this battery different
- 01Pump peak current. The air pump draws a burst at inflation. A pack sized to the average current alone can drop its voltage and cause an error.
- 02Low standby drain. The monitor sits idle most of the day.
- 03Compact shape. Wrist units leave little room.
- 04Safe charging. Protection against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current and short circuit. BMS design →
Upper-arm or wrist
Tell us the pump's peak current and the number of readings you want between charges. We select the cell and set the protection limits for it. Cell selection →
Features we can add

- Charge level shown on the screen, through a fuel gauge and a data link. CAN, UART, RS485 and Bluetooth can be set up to your requirement.
- USB-C or barrel charging with a matching charger.
- Keyed connector to prevent wrong insertion.
- Label and packaging with your name. OEM, ODM and private label →
Documents, samples and delivery

UN38.3, IEC 62133 and MSDS documents are available, with transport and certification reports for the shipment. Other standards depend on your device and market. Custom battery pack samples are charged, and you test them on your monitor. Custom packs usually take one to two months. Prototyping and samples →
Mistakes to avoid with blood pressure monitor batteries
Sizing for average current
The pump and valve draw peak current at inflation. The pack must supply it without a voltage drop.
Ignoring cuff type
Upper-arm monitors need more energy per reading than wrist ones.
Counting readings only
Include standby, display and wireless use.
Skipping low-voltage tests
A weak battery can give a wrong reading. Test how the monitor behaves at low charge.
Fixing the pack after tooling
Settle battery space before the housing mold is cut.
Options you can set
Mark what you want to discuss. Your picks go into the quote form below.
From first message to delivery
STEP 1Send the monitor type, pump current, battery space and readings per charge.
STEP 2We propose the cell and protection, and quote.
STEP 3We build a charged sample, and you test it in the monitor.
STEP 4We adjust cell, size or settings from your notes.
STEP 5Batch production, final test and shipment with the documents you need.
Frequently asked questions
Many use dry batteries, and newer ones often use a rechargeable lithium pack. The design decides.
We size the cells and protection to the peak current you give us, and confirm on a sample.
Send the thickness limit and the case size. We confirm what fits.
We work with device makers and distributors. For a replacement battery, contact the maker of your monitor.
UN38.3, IEC 62133 and MSDS. Tell us the model and we confirm which documents cover it.
Yes. Send the details of each model.
Yes. Custom pack samples are charged, and testing one in your monitor is the usual first step.
